To commission your bespoke piece please email.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

I always find it helpful if at this stage the client has looked at my portfolio online and has a good understanding of my style, thus establishing a good point of reference. Has a timescale and financial investment in mind. And most importantly has an IDEA!
Quality photos are useful where appropriate.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

The client will email me, I will reply within the week.
I’ll take a little time to assess ‘your idea’, the materials involved, the complexity of the task and the timescale involved and indeed if it is possible.

NEXT STAGE

If at this stage everyone is in agreement we will proceed.
I ask for 50% of the final payment.

FINAL STAGE

The making begins...
Once the piece is completed, it will be either collected from my studio or posted.
The final balance will be paid on collection or before dispatch.
I look forward to creating your unique design.

'MYSTERY AT CONISTON'

A commission for Stuart and Louise as part of the BBC series
'Lost and Found in the Lakes' (aired January 2025).
This modelled stoneware wall plaque is 15cm diameter
with a hanger on the back.
It is finished in a classic blue and white style to compliment the objects retrieved from the bottom of Coniston by divers in the
search of the lost wedding ring.
It represents all five members of family swimming in a circle to recreate a ring. Also depicted are a Coniston pike, a number of char and a magpie, offered up as possible places where the ring could have ended up!
A commissioned piece of this size and similar complexity
would start at £650.
The brief for this piece was set by the commissioners who created the TV programme, although anything is possible!

Please note, pieces in the shop are guide prices only, your commission will create its own value.
